Bench and Snow Lakes Trail
Slightly more challenging, this 2.2-mile round trip invests your effort in unforgettable lake views. The trail is accessible from Stevens Canyon Road, opening as snow melts away. Hikers pass through forest and meadow before reaching the sparkling blue waters of Bench and Snow Lakes.
Grove of the Patriarchs Trail
Located near the Stevens Canyon entrance, this gentle 1.1-mile loop takes visitors among ancient forests and across a suspension bridge. Highlights include giant Douglas firs and western red cedars, some more than a thousand years old. The boardwalks and bridges make for a fun and accessible outing for all ages. Check ahead for the status of the bridge and trail, as high water sometimes affects access.
