When entering the Park through the Nisqually Entrance, drive 6 miles, approximately 15 minutes until you get to the Historic Longmire area where you will find lodging, dining and retail at the National Park Inn. Continue up the road 11 miles, approximately 30 minutes, gaining roughly 2,600 feet in elevation and you will find yourself at Paradise where there is lodging, multiple dining and retail outlets for your convenience. Take in the views or go for a hike in this spectacular setting.
Access to Sunrise via Steven Canyon road or via Cayuse and Chinook passes are open seasonally from late June through early September. Please visit the National Park Service website for current road status.

As part of our ongoing green initiatives, our retail outlets offer an increasing variety of goods made in the USA, from recycled materials and reusable bottles to refill at one of our many hydration stations throughout the park (see map for locations). We have eliminated the use of paper bags and replaced them with reusable totes for continued future use.
